Spotlight: Ox Bottom Manor
Ox Bottom Manor is located on the north side of Tallahassee, just 9 miles north of the Capitol. The neighborhood is surrounded by beautiful canopy roads and is conveniently located to nearby amenities. Shopping, recreation facilities, Maclay Botanical Gardens, Forest Meadows Sports Complex, and variety of retailers and restaurants in the Bannerman Crossings development can be reached within minutes.
The community started development in 1989 with building continuing through 2001. The neighborhood has about 700 homes, ranging in six from about 1800 to more than 5,000 square feet. The average home sits on a half-acre lot. About one-third of the homes in the neighborhood have swimming pools. Many of the older homes have been updated to include granite counter tops and hardwood floors. Home prices range from about $250,000 to more than $2 million.
